Destinys child didn't even come out slaying right outta the gate  :dead: the group was a great way for everyone to fall in love with her as the lead and eventually blow up as a global superstar

There's a reason they chose that path for her. She wasn't ready yet until 03

How did D.C. Not slay out the gate? Their 1st single was an international smash  :receipts:

I think he was moreso talking about the LEVEL of star power they came out with.

They slayed collectively and yes Bey was made to stand out.
She definitely slayed but I mean they were definitely unpolished

What I mean by Beyonce not needing DC4 was that she clearly groomed for solo success. If this girl is meant to be the Beyonce of her group, why even bother with rappers? Just develop her a solo artist.

lol

destinys child wasnt a 5harmony situation
where randoms were thrown together and marketed as an idea
they were a real group
but bey did not and i repeat not need those backup dancers
the idea of the group was just cute at the time given the climate in the 90's
her voice and image was the forefront so experience and time was all that was needed to become a force

but to simply be a solo artist that was going to happen anyway
hit songs was all that was needed with a good label push

If Bey "wasn't ready" in 03 by that logic D.C. Wasn't ready and would have failed.

She carried that group, she WAS that group.

6 #1 platinum selling albums later and gorls are still trying to deny it.

They came out simultaneously on the same single. No No No pt 2 is track 1 of every single variation (cd, cassette, vinyl) pt 2 is the version that was send to pop and mainstream radio.
