I still don't understand why they weren't interested in another album or a single beyond "No Daddy".  It was like they just completely stopped fucking with her.

I guess so, but it's just surprising when they named her Princess Of The Roc.  I remember she did this photo shoot for VIBE magazine with all the RocAFella rappers.  Rihanna wasn't even considered part of their mess.  Jay even brought Teairra on TRL.

It's just weird now how all of a sudden he acts like it was Rihanna always from the start.

Well if they gave her all that hype and her single still flopped that's even more reason to abandon ship before she wasted anymore of their coins tbh
