Labels, labels, labels.  From bankruptcy to storming Clive Davis?s office with guns & thugs, TLC have had more record label problems than we can count! 

Thanks to the successful fan-funded Kickstarter campaign, TLC now answer to TLC!  The girls have formed their OWN record label called 852 Musiq which means the only label bosses they?ll be answering to are themselves!  (Fun fact: 852 spells out TLC on your phone dialer!)

In addition to forming their own label, TLC have forged partnerships with various major distribution companies.  In the USA TLC?s music will be distributed by RED.  Overseas the girls have signed with Liberation Music in Australia, Warner Music in Japan, and Cooking Vinyl in the UK and the rest of the world.  You can read more about the labels below.  #TLCISHere



RED:

Liberation Music:

Liberation Music is an independent Australian record company, started in 1999 by Michael Gudinski and Warren Costello, based in Melbourne. Its stated aim is to find, nurture and then to develop new talent for a world market while remaining independent in the process.

Cooking Vinyl:

Mr. Gavin Taylor has been named the Creative Director for TLC?s new album!  According to his Instagram post:

I?ll never forget listening to the single on @semanovich earbuds sat across from the lovely and amazing @therealtboz at the @sohohouse in #la last month ? the music is amazing and I can?t wait for everyone to see the visuals?

According to Gavin?s website, he has worked with the likes of Noah Cyrus, Britney Spears, Mary J. Blige, Katy Perry, Demi Lovato, and many more!  Bring it on, Mr. Taylor and welcome to the TLC family!
