Ciara didn't even say shit about Bey like that. The blogs attacked that story and made things even worse for her.

With FR, I think Ci did get lost in the shuffle, in an attempt to maintain her pop radio airplay, appease her label, and of course please her fans. But the industry made a shift between 07-08 and for some reason Top 40 radio started to disregard most Urban music. I think she felt she had to switch it up in some kinda way. And I'm sure there was label pressure as well. It all culminated in a bunch of experimental songs that barely connected with anyone, an album with songs on it that were put on YouTube months ahead of time, and minimal label backing. Oh, and the BeyHive wanted her head :dead:

she just wasn't lucky that go round.

You won't agree but Umbrella and GGGB had a lot to do with it as well.

It's unconditional, these days you know....

Talisa have you noticed how sis started using illuminati symbolism with the Fanatsy Ride era? :uhh:

Music really CHANGED around that time.
well, they did try and call the Love Sex Magic vidya a Bey mess, so I wouldn't be surprised. Is that what you're talking about?
"Go Girl" was illuminati DOWN too.

It's like she was fighting some force around that time...idk..shit was just weird. The way that era was total shit from the push backs, the leaks, the shit artwork.

They (illuminati/label) were punishing her for something.
now SIS

I always thought it was weird how she was rocking the Rocawear in 2007 and then suddenly she wasn't. Jay-Z and them had something to do with her failures for the 3rd CD and I'll always believe that.

Ci is a Godly woman and I've heard stories about how big her voice is behind the scenes. They sabotaged the hell out of her.

I do agree. Pop radio had Bey and Rih and wasn't givin a single fuck about Fantasy Ride.

Kaeli.

What happened with Bey/Ci? I only remembered the Hive/Ci's vs the Keri's or whatever the fuck they're called

Rih didn't snatch anybody.

It was simply pop radio meeting their black girl quota. Urban radio embraced Ci, even with subpar singles like Never Ever and Go Girl.
