I don't have this "problem" but is race really that big of a topic when you meet someone? Does anyone really fcking care once they deem you attractive?

That's what I wanna fckn know? It could be just an undertone subconscious mess. But to me it's the other way round. No race will make u less attractive but if a dude says he is Colombian of morrocan even if he looks the same he will gain some hotness points.
not for me

But i know that's how some people think.

Miranda

I think to some it's about what comes with their perception of "black". I'm not gone lie a nig that is Indian but says he is Iraqi and could pass, I might find him sexier. It's subconscious.

yummy

Well race is not ethnicity, I think people get the two confused.

Race is how people look at you, it is appearance based
so I would assume that it is important when it comes to attraction.

Someone can look at me and clearly see I'm a dark skinned black man.
Now as far as my ethnic makeup, is that something they'd care about....is the question.
yeah and what I'm saying is

Who the fuck asks that?
:hmph:

You look middle eastern. But.... Is there a bit of BLACK in there? :usuresis:

I'd be turned off.

After we are done or I get to know them
Better and I start talking about black things or singers. Often they are lime: "you really like black shit don't you?!" And in like sis maybe because I AM? Nnn

Or I start talking about my family and then they are like, so wait you are also black? You're hot but I'm usually not into that as much.

Some people will question your heritage if they see something a bit different about you.
This is especially true for black people....people have this perception of us, and what we should always look like.....so if they see a light skinned black man with green eyes, they cannot help but wonder what is he mixed with.

It's only a few who have the guts to ask you.

Traci Ellis Ross actually spoke on this as well. One of her colleagues had European facial features, but clearly was black. A white person asked him what he was mixed with, and he replied, "Slavery."

I didn't say it's black people who are asking

I said it's especially TRUE for black people, that they are questioned....because OTHER races have a perception of what we should all look like.....what color skin we should have, what grade of hair we should have, what color eyes we should have.....

within our community we know better though, and can better discern by looking at our own people what the situation might be. I can clearly look at someone and tell that they are mulatto, automatically. the very light skin, facial features, the kinky/curly hair.....

people outside of our gates don't know our vast variations

But have you SEEN them. In talking CHISELED abs, big arms, a face to die for, 9 inch dick, olive/brown skin, black curly hair. :stressed:

I would never date them. But nnn I'm gonna mess.

And it's really maybe 20-30% that have those tendencies , a good 30% just messages me FOR my blackness (jungle fever/size queens).

But mostly it is irrelevant, just not for some. And you might as well get it when the getting is gewd.

Miranda

I wanna stand up and give a black pride mess then I remember the dick and face and I'm like fuck it!

Not seeing you agains anyway.
