TBH, this "returning housewives" nonsense is so monotonous and extremely late. Just bring on fresh new faces and have them stay on longer than just a season.

for any other cast, i'd say this is true. But for some reason, I like Atlanta bringing back the mess. I truly miss Nene. The original crew or at least hte earlier season crew really carried. Mix in Kenya and Porsha, it really is a mess and i like it. Andy mixes it up at the right times tbh. Nene left at the right time. Kim left at the right time. But it's now the right time to bring them back.

I agree with this but leave Kim out. She really brings nothing exciting and I'm sure she'll try to make a season about the other girls "wanting" what she has..

I think they could've left Kim Fields.  I liked the dynamic she brought to the show.

That makeup-less brunch is still a KI.

Or when she told Cynthia, "Let me read to you!"  during the fight with Porsha. 

Sometimes, you have to develop someone for reality TV and let them get more comfortable with the cast & the cameras.

She was corny and out of place at first, but as time went on she was a good fit.
They needed someone with an IQ above 40 who actually had a legit career (besides Kandi and Porsha) with an actual husband and kids.

Are you claiming Porsha has an IQ over 40, a career or both? Because both are lies.

Playing the bimbo on a gossip talk show isn't a career. She isn't doing broadcast journalism.

I think I'm starting to agree with the people who thinks this show needs to be recast. They should go in a different direction for the 10th season.

It sucks because they always test new girls on the other franchises.  They usually all have a new girl, or several, each season.  If a new girl doesn't work, oh well, kick her to the curb and try another one next year.

Look at Carlton and Joyce on RHOBH.  Gone after one season each, but the show eventually got Yolanda, Erika, Lisa Rinna, and Eileen.  Two are established actresses.

NY always has new girls.  Carole was famous before the show.

OC tested and kicked out several before finding Heather and Shannon.

Meanwhile, it's like RHOA is a secret org in which only the initiated are allowed to join the ranks.    The newest girls have been on for several years now.  They test new people all time time (Shamea, Demetria, Tammy, RL's wife this season).  But they end up reducing their role to a friend, or cut them out altogether.  Cast two or three new girls, give them a chance, and see what happens.  Remember, Porsha was on the chopping block after her first season.  She only secured her spot after Kordell kicked her out.  It requires some risk-taking to get the right cast.


I'm sure some hasbeen black actress or washed-up reality star would join, if given an offer.  I could see Melyssa Ford from Blood, Sweat, and Heels or someone like that moving to ATL for the show.

Kim was the 1/3 of the reason they got a second season, the others being Nene and Sheree
having them all back on now that they are legitimately rich is going to be a KI

plus she's THE reason Kandi got a second season
without Tardy for the Par' dram' sis had nothing besides that ex dying

and I like that she was the white housewife in atl and the most rachet
i hope Sweety is still enslaved, i miss their dynamic
