I wasn't a fan until artpop it's a great album. She could've easily had that album multi-platinum there was a huge break between do what you want and guy like 7 months all the momentum for the album had died. She can definitely come back.

she underestimated her big time

Katy came off looking like the cool new queen of Pop and Gaga just looked out of place

but all in all ArtPop played Brit's, Bey's, and Katy's alberms that year

I personally think her music is absolutely dreadful, and her obsessive need to be constantly and continually be WAY over the top annoyed me and OBVIOUSLY many other people. The thing I think she still has for her is she CAN sing. So I don't think it's quite over for her yet. The gimmicks are. Nobody cares for those anymore. Now she has to make GOOD music. I wouldn't hold my breath though...

With the costumes, weirdness and dramatics.. People can only take that in sections.. Not four years straight

When she did BTW & Artpop, she tried to top and outdo the first one with overdoing the weird shit.. But forgot to put quality to go with it.

She needs to go back to the style of her first album.. Weird, but her having fun at the same time.. She takes herself (and music) too seriously and just started feeling herself too much. Flopping will humble her again.
