Few artists want to work with her. "Before each album, she'll usually blitz the market with features to generate interest in her own project. However, this time around her team had to negotiate with Gucci (Make Love), PARTYNEXTDOOR (Run Up), and Jason Derulo (Swalla) with dramatically reduced rates in order to make those features happen. Even then, the songs failed to chart well. Needless to say, her features aren't worth as much as they were before."


Her businesses are losing money. "She lost around $2M after cancelling the production of her TV pilot because of her older brother's legal issues, since his character was central to the series. She also lost a lot of money with her clothing line (that is quietly being discontinued), and her newest app has largely been abandoned by its developers."
Her album was supposed to be released in March. "Her fourth album is finished, but the label is pushing the release back until she can achieve a Top 10 single a la Anaconda or Starships. They tried to use the Remy beef to her advantage to push No Frauds, but her team dropped the ball by releasing the song and video too late. They're also struggling to secure artists for her tour."
Side Note: "I don't know if her album will sell, but it will definitely get people talking. I've heard a few snippets, and this is her most personal album to date. She addresses her thoughts about her brother, the Wayne and Birdman situation, and also addresses Meek directly."


Her relationship with Drake is still strained. "Everyone in the industry knows Nicki had a hand in starting the beef between Drake and Meek. As such, Drake doesn't want to do business with her, but his moves are very calculated, so he will continue to support her for the sole purpose of maintaining his image and business relationships."

LOL i'm no Nicki but  it's so late to me how everyone jumps on the bandwagon in the music industry. Remember when everyone started trashing Xtina in favour of Gaga, then turned around and did the same thing to Gag' a couple years later? I'll take this with a grain of salt. One things for sure, I don't see this album doing well, esp. if a Drake feature couldn't get her a hit.

2. While these alternative facts are talking about she's losing $2 million on business, sis' could lose $20-25 million & STILL be the richest female rapper to EVER do it! She ain't hurting for coins.
3. The 3 artist/features they listed (Gucci +Major Lazer + Jason Derulo) have had several high profile features throughout their perspective careers/era, so clearly the labels aren't skimping on the payouts. I'm sure Nick is receiving top dollar, nothing less.
