She's been rough with the singing for a while now...
but this one is def the roughest

There are literally two standouts to me, IF that. She sounds absolutely horrid on most of this album

Idk if it's the mixing or what. I already know she has a harsh tone or whatever but Jesus Christ 

It just doesn't sound inspired to me

she always had a very raw type voice..
but some of this singing is sloppy and harsh..
she has never been a sloppy singer IMO

this mess sounds like a last album on my contract RUSHED type MESS

The vocal won't get any better unfortunately.  We should be grateful that she has given us more than a couple classic albums. Mary is truly one of the greatest. I just hope she learns from Whitney, Mariah and others who lost their voices and just bow out on top. Don't kill an amazing legacy.
