I am very disappointed in Mary for this album!

This was the perfect opportunity for her to create something as strong as Share my love, My life, Growing Pains.. and once again she dropped the ball.

Its just not a solid or a good album!
The vocal performances aren't good and I honestly don't hear the truly personal moments that we heard on "Not Gone Cry", "Missing you", "Be without you", "My Life", "Your child", "no happy holiday", "be happy"

as a huge fan.. this was a really big let down!
I dont think i cant ever listen to it again..
i have already played it 10 times straight thru trying to figure out if im tripping..
but i dont really hear the pain or the whole truth!

what do you all think? am i being dramatic?

Mary's been singing like this for years tbh,,, now " Set me Free" vocals are meant to be like that the rest of the album is fine vocally ...

SOME of these vocals are very grating
she always had a very raw type voice..
but some of this singing is sloppy and harsh..
she has never been a sloppy singer IMO
