It's not because I don't feel like it's organic. I feel the same way about hetero shows where people are always fucking and making out.

There were gay references made about Lucious, Jamal and Michael slobbing each other down. Two girls kissing on each other at some dyke fest. Marissa's character and Cookie poignantly flirting and talk of Boo Boo Kitty being gay for pay. I mean, it was just a lot and it was totally unnecessary. If this was queer as folk, okay, but this is Empire.

Empire makes Power look like The West Wing. Power had some unbelievable moments but it is above and beyond Empire.

TV in general is not realistic and I don't mind suspending reality to enjoy some mess. But I gotta dumb myself down for Empire and I'm like nah lol
