girl shut up. She is almost 60! What do you expect her to play. Y'all keep dumbing her characters down as "somebodies mama". When Meryl, Jessica Lange etc have played many characters that have children, but y'all see them as so much more.

What I'm saying isn't a slight toward her, it's the opposite. Some of those characters literally had no depth.

BOY! she was in one tyler perry movie.  But I do agree with u on her playing more diverse roles. Honestly, Meryl seems like a better actress imo but that's probably only because I've seen her in literally EVERY kind of role
