You never know what anyone is doing with your money, truly. If you wanna give then give, if you don't then don't.

I agree. I dont concern myself with what they're doing with the money.  Im just giving to be kind, what they do once they leave my presence aint on me or my conscious. The only time i really wont give money is if the person has made a particular area "their area" and I've given to them before. There's this couple that loiters in the grocery parking lot. Look, u aint getting money from me everytime i run to the store. I feel like at that point it's a job. If u can wake yo ass up and hit this parking lot like clockwork, u can go get a damn job. BYE!

I actually did buy him a meal but it caught me off guard.  Like its one thing to ask for a dollar but to have the damn balls to ask for a whole damn MEAL

this was beautiful.

i do this from time to time.
I usually don't carry much cash on me so I when I see someone asking for change I'll ask them if they want food instead and I'll pop in somewhere and buy them something.

One time the guy disappeared after I went into Starbucks so I drove around the block a few times before I found him.

I see these moments as opportunities, not inconveniences.
