She is an established entertainer & that for me is the sole reason why she shouldn't participate in a PR stunt... especially with an unknown artist what's the benefit in that for her.   This is why I believe she is really dating him.

This her life.
I'm at the point where i don't even care.
Brandy always falls in love the same way, it seems.
For this guy to be singing about her on his album and professing his "feelings" for her, that makes me feel like it may not be a PR stunt, but who knows.
Brandy's a big girl. She can figure this out on her own. She agreed to sing on his songs, so she knew that it would be announced around album time. I know the fans want what they feel is best for her, but it's her life to make the choices she wants.

And nobody here knows how long they've actually been dating.
