A customer was on an old internet plan in a jurisdiction we dont have control over and she was having internet problems and we were offering tech support but we have to go thru a 3rd party to do it ...customer wanted to save her email address she had with the co.pnay cause she had it for 12 years and she was worried if her internet wasnt working anymore how will she hold on to the email


I tell her let me check with my supervisor

I instant messege the supervisor she says internet suspend to keepnthe internet wont work
I asked what avout the email only account

She says we can do that put in a change request and send it to her

I got in the phone with the customer and said if ur tech support efforts fail we can offer the email only acct


Customer calls today bitchin that they disconected her account and took the email


Supervisior assistant emails me sayin u put this note on her account sayin she can get an email only acct but we dont offer that

I say whats wrong i got that verified that it could be done by ur supervisor

She says there was a misscomminication

I pulled out our instant messge transcripts that show our supervisor saying  it was possible

She says oh she thought u were only talking about internet suspend not email only accounts and because u posted ao many one line messeges it got confusing

I said if we cant process the single lines we definetly cant handle full on paragraphs
And she understood exactly what was meant as u can see she was the one who said int suspend wasnt possible and that we can do email only
I was not confused neither was she

So she said

Just know we dont do email only accts


So  i said
Look how much do i owe on my acct u can transfer her email to my acct and she can use mine sisnce i never used the 5 emails i can get

She said yes but u gotta pay 150 cause ur acct is past due
I said its paid

Add her account to mine and call her and let her know wassup
