She's not A list but she's popular and relevant. That doesnt automatically mean A list tho. She's not a musician people look to for great music, great performances, great vocals, etc. If anything she's more Alist by ASSOCIATION. She's dating the weekend, before that justin Beiber, she's taylor swift's friend, etc. Selena Gomez as a stand alone celebrity isn't A list either

The fact is that A-list, B-list and so forth, much like the idea of celebrity, is a construct that doesn't tangibly exist. It exists in the perception of society. There's nothing official that follows the track of a star as they become certified on any kind of list. Who can officially place a celeb on the B-list or C-list, or give final judgement on where a renowned, public figure would fall?

Angelina, Will, Brad, Denzel ect are all examples of people who have excelled, at the TOP and are popular in their own industry.
It works the same way for sport stars, models, musicians ect.
If you think Chris Brown and Selena are on the same level as Beyonce, Adele, Drake, Taylor, Rihanna the Weeknd ect

This isnt true either and this is probably why ur WRONG! A list like some have said is earned.  Madonna, Elton John, Barbara Streisand, Michael Jackson, Prince, etc. Werent/arent still hot and relevant but they are all DEFINITELY A list celebs.
