During Brandy's "Afrodisiac" era...
That era "tested" my investment in her.

Bey - around the Survivor era. I remember I got all the DC albums at the time cause my friends Mom worked at Sony.

Mariah - TEOM era. Fucking epic.

I don't really STAN for anyone else.
:dead:

But I took major interest in Rihanna after the "Live Your Life" song in 2008.
And I took major interest in Chris Brown during his "In My Zone" mixtape in 2010.

Fear of Flying era

same here

it took me a year to get intew the slow songs
i kinda cut it off after that left eye song
whole album was tite

didnt like the rerelease tho but it still slayed

Funny, alot of people prefer the version with Free.
I don't
they cut some of the good ballads near the end and
messed up the flow of the track listing
I like Again & Again though

I enjoy both versions equally but play the version with Free more.

It was really Moesha that had me wheeled the fuck in... I was like this girl is IT!

But it wasn't until Afrodisiac that really made me look at her in another light... the music alone was next level for her and I LIVED that she left Rodney to work with Timbaland b/c I didn't really like Full Moon back then as I do now... that whole era at that time for me was epic from the Kanye feature, the Jamaica press release/interview on MTV, the hair color, her dropping Sonja & wanting to be sexy.... then they dropped the ball with not releasing I Tried and the whole Brandy curse began
