And it's also the reason why they were still multiplatinum-selling artists and Aaliyah was struggling in the sales department. Beautiful woman but when she ditched the baggy clothes she just became a pretty girl in nice clothes.
????????

DC was definitely trendsetting which is why your faves were running around copying their mess. Especially when Bey went solo in 2003 around 2004 all the girls were copying what Bey was doing.
who copied what they were wearing or doing?
Beyonce ran around for the first half of the 000's wearing whatever J-Lo wore 2 years before  :ohwow:

Aamerie.

Yes their clothes were tacky in retrospect but Bey and the girls were trendsetting and role models. You will NOT take that from ha.

ffffffffffffff

Oop Yumz is trying to fucking mess. Now you know I've never placed Bey over Bran so pipe down but Bey was definitely influential during that Afro era but she wasn't the only one. Shan, Shame, K'Lest and the rest were using wind machines and echo messes too.

AIDS!

Not a wind machine
The girls have been using those since the damn 90's

Were we talking about Destinys Child in Tinas Goodwill mess or Beyonce in the mid 2000's? Can we keep it consistent.
