Yes their clothes were tacky in retrospect but Bey and the girls were trendsetting and role models. You will NOT take that from ha.
to whom?

:plzstop:

To the girls who wore hand me downs and Kmart for back to school. He already explained that to us. About how young girls related to looking asymmetric and late.

Everytime I look at this I think...oh well this is years ago..but then again Survivor era started in 2001 while Lili was wearing the whole Cavalli collection

All them expensive clothes
but TWOTW album did 8x platinum and Survivor went at least 4xplatinum
maybe Aaliyah should've taken notes and had Diane sew her somethings
you took that as Bey shade?  It was true

They looked a mess back then, in comparison. I'm sure she'd be the first to admit it

What a fag. What do late ass fashions have to do with 10 million anything?
Fat fag shut the fuck up
yea RIG I took that as Bey shade because yes they dressed tacky But why does Aaliyah ho ass have to be used as the example?
showing pictures of DC now vs then would make more sense

Barbie Dangerous

If they didn't set trends why is is that every girl group after tried to follow their formula as far as similar yet different styling? Light hair, dark hair, red hair; sexy, simple, conservative, etc.
:sobusyjetsetter:

AIDS!

Maybe because they were prominent artists of that time in the same genre?

n

Well they have nothing else to do

AIDS!

I mean they were peers
Worked with the same people
Charted on the same charts
Hit up the same red carpets
Hung around yeah same people

Makes sense that comparison...no?

AIDS!

It was an innocent comparison :dead:
Some people are so sensitive
They looked a mess and they'd be the first to admit it :dead:

No, that wouldnt make more sense because Annie was comparing how tacky (as you put it) Beyonce'nem stayed looking in comparison to more refined artists that same year. 2001 and 2015 arent the same year dumdum so nah, that wouldnt have made sense.
