its a lot...but he had a 3.8 mess owt when he graduated.
Not like she threw an elaborate party for him enrolling into a GED class.

I think she probably did it out of guilt as well...she said she had cancer and almost died as he was trying to finish school.
She probably felt she was a burden on him, I'm sure he was taking care of her and worrying. For him to still push thru I think it's deserved. Especially if they could afford it.

Now if their funds are limited and could have been used for some tuition instead that's another story.
