A few years ago I was at my dads farm and  I went to go move his semi truck when I started to climb in the cab a 6 ft black rat snake was crawling across my boot  I almost fainted

They defanged it and most big venomous snakes try to use dry bites to scare of intruders. They try to preserve their venom for hunting and it takes them a while to produce
