I would particularly want to attend Black Gay Pride.

Oddly enough, I don't find Pride inclusive of anyone that isn't a white gay (particularly Toronto Pride after last year), so I'm meh tbh.

i dont enjoy it as much as i used to but i do go every year just cause.

Yeah. I still attend because Black pride here is terrible BUT I can't help but wish that the whites were like...gone.

Well,

Racism immediately came to mind. White gays don't deal with that. The other groups do on macro and micro levels. I'd even argue that the other groups have been dealing with xenophobia as of late also. This can often be perpetuated by the same people they'd be marching in pride with.

Well,

Racis immediately came to mind. White gays don't deal with that. The other groups do on macro and micro levels. I'd even argue that the other groups have been dealing with xenophobia as of late also. This can often be perpetuated by the same people they'd be marching in pride with.

TRUE white gays dont deal with racism but just because we all go through something different i dont see why we have to do things separately.  All it does is divides us when we need to be standing together IMO

Aside from racism that can also occur within the LGBT community, minority gays are impacted by AIDS, poverty, familial and cultural homophobia at rates white people will never experience

Like... "segregated" Prides were a RESPONSE to being marginalized within the LGBT.
