So June kicks off pride month and this board is predominately queer so I thought it would be cool to see how yall felt about Pride in general.

Do yall celebrate pride? Why or why not?

Is it important to you or your friends?

Do you see a need for it?

Let's discuss.

I think I'll be sitting London Pride this year.

Normally go, but with all the 'err'rism going on...

:udontlookok:

In the past, did you value going?

i slap a pride bumper sticker on my ride n call it a day!

Not important to me therefore I dont go to the events. Im not a real celebratory/party person anyway (xmas, thanksgiving, and other traditions people go crazy over are meh to me) so I dont feel theres a NEED.... just people wanting to celebrate something. And then the whore'er stories..

OM I hadn't even thought about that  :uhh:

I've been to the parade a couple times. It's a fun day out but there's no deeper meaning behind for me.

Understandable.

I also think that Pride sometimes is synonymous with all the sexual stories and that deters folks from wanting to check it out or see value in it. At least from folks i've talked to.

I would particularly want to attend Black Gay Pride.

I can't get jiggy with white fags tbh.
