I didn't expect this to almost threaten MC's record :uhh:

GRAND

A radio version of single lady came out 3-4 days before the video. It wasn't hq though

The era was so big and hyped, the initial focus was on IIWAB

Then a week later single ladie SWOOPED in and left IIWAB in the dust

Nine

Gotta say, I didn't expect INOJ's It's Over to be #1 on the Hot 100 for 35 weeks.

I remember being upset when I first heard it because I just KNEW it was gonna go nowhere.

I was taken tf aback that this blond flop
signed by Akon would become so massive.

:everythingok:

When i first heard the mess it sounded so weird, I couldn't place her. Was she gonna be an urban gorl? I knew she'd fade into obscurity.

Scott.

I just knew "Crazy In Love" would flop. I despised that song at first

Didn't Single Ladies premiere with the video :everythingok:

Yea I'm pretty sure it did
It definitely didn't. You're confusing it for DIL

No I'm not

QuoteThe music video for "Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)" was shot on sep 14 and directed by Jake Nava and released to major outlets on October 13, 2008.

I coulda swore I saw her give a world premiere mess on 106 & park or TRL :everythingok:

Angel In Disguise

Hit Me Baby One More Time
Oops I Did It Again

Basically...Britney. I never saw her success coming. Mind-boggling, really.
