get lost in the story, flawless graphics and gameplay. FF has always focused heavily on the story. The nerdier gamers like me love that shit.

Yeah, I screwed up my GoW experience doing that.  Still loved it, though.

I accidentally spoiled myself on Red Dead 2's ending messing around.  Still pissed.

Nah, I tend to watch playthroughs on YouTube like tv shows.  I'll just sit and watch, and I ended up watching past the point I was on in both games.

I ruined Horizon that way, too.     Once I saw the story didn't develop as interestingly as I expected, I lost interest and stopped playing.   

I'm not watching playthroughs for games I haven't played yet again. 

Except maybe a 10-minute IGN game preview mess.
