TLC?s ?Chilli? Thomas sues Gwinnett firm over Cadillac Escalade EXT

Rozonda ?Chilli? Thomas of the singing group TLC has filed a lawsuit against a Gwinnett company, demanding the return of $27,500 she said she paid for a Cadillac Escalade EXT that was never delivered.

In a lawsuit filed Sept. 18 in State Court in Gwinnett, Thomas said she entered a verbal contract with Atlanta Highline Consulting LLC and Joshua William Waddell of Suwanee in October 2014 for the defendants to deliver the vehicle for the price in the lawsuit.

Thomas said she wired $10,000 on Oct. 10, 2014 and $17,500 on Oct. 23 to the company and Waddell. The singer said the vehicle was never delivered and that she demanded on April 2, 2015, that her money be returned.


Efforts were being made to reach Thomas, Atlanta Highline Consulting, identified online as an automobile and truck brokerage firm, and Waddell for comment.

The Escalade EXT deal followed a similar one in August 2014 in which Thomas said she purchased another Escalade EXT for $25,375 from Atlanta Highline Consulting LLC and Waddell. She said there were no problems with that deal and the vehicle was delivered.
