As soon as someone says anything to me I pretty much pop off.

I think the reason I do it is because I'm so laid back and reserved and never fck with anybody, so I don't understand why anybody would go out of their way to come sideways at me.

But tbh I've grown tremendously. I'm very tame these days. I snatched my mom up the other day so bad, but she kinda tried it and IDC.

But, at the risk of sounding cynical, we've been down this road before. Say really messed up stuff to one another, apologize, play nice for a couple weeks, rinse and repeat.

The more naive Herbert would have apologized after blacking out during the "Butch Queen era". But for once, the apology never came. I guess I'm getting "woke" in more ways than one. I was surprised - the urge wasn't even there.

Nice thread, though. At least there are attempts at resolve. But ultimately I believe avoidance of people you just don't use is the best solution.
