Its so much I wanna say about this build a school fund...

First off,it takes 2 million dollars to purchase a former college campus? I think not. Plus he claims that they will not finance it. They want the cash up front. Suspect. He then moves on to say that since he cant the 2 million,he is looking in a different location. Whatever.

Second, where is the money that has already been raised? Im sure he is not just letting it sit there.

Third, he claims that he wants this school to be residential because the parents are too fucked up to send the kids back to once he's "fixed" them.

My antennas went up on more than this but I need to rewatch some of his lectures to remember everything his ass was saying.
I saw a video about a week ago where he was saying that we need to stop being 'lazy' and buy postage and send him contributions (lol) instead of online. He said that paypal froze some of the money raised (I think it was $125k) because of the size of the amount. He is considering opening the school in 'Africa' too lol. I think an African 'king' wanted to help him out.

he has a tour that he is promoting for Black boys at the moment, and he again acted rude because people were asking questions about the itinerary and if they could go etc. Umar and his 'chaperones' (who are these people? Have they undergone police checks?) will be watching their children.

It's scary to see Black parents on his page offering up their children to his school/tours with no questions asked.

I will be watching to see how this all plays out...

He has a psychology administration certification which only allows him to function in limited ways inside the school system. He by no means has a clinical degree which is disappointing considering his stance on education.

He advocates for black people being educated but did not put in the effort to earn a degree that justify his moniker as a doctor. I guess when he created the name Umar Johnson, he decided this character should be a doctor too lol.
Here we are in 2016 and there still has been no explanation for where that money went. Any legitimate business or organization would willingly account for millions of dollars given to them by hard working individual contributors. Umar Johnson is hell bent on not discussing the details which makes him look very suspicious.

I've seen Umar's type before. He clearly has some education but not to the extent that he claims. He has found a subject that he is passionate about and has probably done a lot of independent studies but that does not make him an expert. I say this because a lot of his lectures reflect a lot (not all) of my views and knowledge about education and disabilities but I did not learn most of what I know in school. Therefore his views are not groundbreaking to me but they are refreshing because he does pay closer attention to these subjects than most educated people do.

My biggest issue with him is that he calls himself a doctor when he is not. That makes him a liar. And if he would lie about that he would lie about anything. His deception makes his overall mission less credible and more ego driven than anything else.
