The Kenyans were happy for her when we found out she got married to a good-looking man with a good career.  That's all she's harped on for the last four or five seasons, and her dream came true.  Who cares if she leaves, tbh?  It's not in shame, like so many others.   Leaving on her terms.  At least her reasoning shows integrity, which most of her cast lacks. 

And she did it without having to prowl the prison yard.


In the end, Porsha and Phaedra will seethe much more at Kenya getting married to the man she did than Kenya will be mad she's not still on the show.  So, she wins.

Being downgraded to a friend affects your checks.  Porsha is paid way less than Kenya because she was on thin ice and demoted.  They increase your salary the longer you are a full cast member.
