I like this girl but she's going to have to learn how to craft a hit record.
that's the only thing she's going to have to learn

she'll have to leave the hood mess alone alot quicker than Nicki did

she really needs to get with Missy or something
she needs a style and sound outside of this female trapper
catering to niggers won't keep her fed long term

No, she needs to do what got her the limelight.  She's from the NY projects and it's part of her appeal.  People want ghetto bars from a pretty hood chick.   :letsmessfag:

Fill the void, Card'!

Cardi is taking Nicki spot. She gives what Nicki use to when people actually used.

Nicki gave like 50 different flows. Cardi has this singular, one-dimensionsal, bargain basement flow. People flock to her because they think she's funny. She's going to need more than that to sustain a rap career.

Nick gave nursery rhymes and basic punchlines.

Asbestos!

Cardi actually makes sense when she raps.  The only thing detracting from her is her nasally tone of voice, but she got the tone and flow right on "Bloody Barz."  If she kept that, she'd go far.

I remember that song.

What I don't remember is people praising Nicki as a dope lyricist.  :ummwhat:

She was cute for what she was, and she capitalized on the absence of other female rappers.  Sitting on the steps freestylin when all the others were going to jail, in jail, or otherwise preoccupied.  But she was known as a knockoff Kim and Foxy, and got way more attention for her fake Hardcore pose than for her lyrics.

Nicki can't rap.  For every decent song, there's like two dozen of trash lyrics and basic punchlines.  She was never on the Kim, Foxy, Lauryn level, try as she might.

I wouldn't NOT put her on the level of Fox or Kim in their prime because I was just listening to Broken Silence yesterday and ... yeah.

But Nicki holds her own lyrically. Can we agree to that ? :justabit:

No.   :19k:

ssdffgvghhhhhh

I will concede she has a few songs that don't sound like they were written by a fifth-grader, but those are few and far in between.  I like Itty Bitty Piggy, but I'm not wowed by the lyrics.  :plzstop:
