Cardi has only had a viable rap career for a short time.  She's blowing up and appearing solo on the charts far quicker than it took Nick to take off.  Without a major cosign or ten thousand features.  The only thing Nick has over Cardi is that she's been out longer.  She still can't rap, which is why it resonated so much when a real lyricist dragged her to the depths from which she has yet to emerge.
