So, my coworker who's Peruvian has been dating this White guy (who is SUPER white btw. Like ghostly pale.....blond hair, blue eyes. Doesn't get any whiter).

I know both of them because he's my coworker as well - and he recently took a job opportunity in another state with another company. They have been just getting used to the long distance. Apparently , his family saw this as an opportunity to voice their concerns about her.

They told him that she's not who they picture him with. They didn't say "cuz the bitch is Spanish" but they may as well have.  She got the message loud and clear, she's a very smart girl.

When she told me this I literally had to hold my composure and remember that I was in the office -- I was INFURIATED. And on the verge of tears. It's one thing to hear about racism and how it affects people but to see it happening in front of your very eyes is crazy.

She is a strong girl but I can tell that their words have hurt her. They're really pushing for this separation at a very vulnerable time in their relationship -- when they are far apart from one another.  :'( :'( :'(
