Well, ultimately it comes down to perception.

Many thought Kim was insecure and pressed when Nicki stepped on the scene, you have a different story that includes reasons for her behavior, etc. which is all reasonable - whether or not anyone who isn't a KIm fan cares about the nooks and crannies of it all is a different story. I think the same goes for Nicki.

Exhibit A speaks more to my point of public perception than to the nooks and crannies of it all.
