i understand the point of showing variety.....but you don't want it to come off as trying too hard.
there's a fine line between inclusion and exploitation. i don't think EMPIRE has crossed it yet, but its getting dangerously close.

yeah when I saw OITB i tried to get into one episode
but that lesbian mess turned my stomach ...  i said no fucking ma'am
i'm not attracted to women, so to see two of them naked and being sexual ... it's a bit much

maybe that's how some people feel about seeing gay men being sexual with one another.
but i don't think EMPIRE goes too far. in that aspect. but its all in the eyes of the beholder i suppose. i'm sure there are gay men who don't mind the kitty kat action in OITNB
