her and john smith didnt even have a romantic relationship did they?
I'm sure they fucked a few times but I don't think it was romantic.
hmm ddddddddddd

I don't think she got that dick
She was like 10 when she met him
bxbcbcx

I mean he was captured and in a foreign country, I don't think there was an abundance of options so he took what he could get. And weren't people getting married at like 14 back then?

um malc
he was a prisoner hun
In the film John Smith fine self gets shot and they have to travel back to England to cure him. But I imagine in those days traveling while shot through the fckn Atlantic Ocean equals death. He shoulda stayed with the Natives and let them put some voodoo creams on his wounds.
They didn't like him
He was their prisoner
He was the captain of the people that were tryna rob them of their land
In the film John saved the Chief's life, so they ended up accepting him as one of their brothers.

I think the point they're trying to make is that Disney turns real-life tragedies into magical love stories..

That happened in the film as well. Right after that the Brit tries to shoot the Chief and John sacrifices his own body to protect him.

Well, Disney's target demographic are children.  :dead: I don't think anybody expect to see the full true story in an animation movie.

SouravMay

I don't understand why they still got to name it "Pocahontas" though...

Right but why remake a tragic/deplorable story to begin with? Of all stories since history, it seems they choose the most disgusting only to turn them around into the complete opposite..

Well because it's Disney and they've been doing it for years. Nothing's gonna change now. :dead: Either continue to enjoy movies we grew up on as children or file a complaint and take it up with Disney, hon.
