I think the point they're trying to make is that Disney turns real-life tragedies into magical love stories..

Well, Disney's target demographic are children.  I don't think anybody expect to see the full true story in an animation movie.

Right but why remake a tragic/deplorable story to begin with? Of all stories since history, it seems they choose the most disgusting only to turn them around into the complete opposite..

Well because it's Disney and they've been doing it for years. Nothing's gonna change now. Either continue to enjoy movies we grew up on as children or file a complaint and take it up with Disney, hon.
