Logic, Khalid and Gucci Mane are joining the live performer lineup for the 2017 MTV Video Music Awards, the network announced through a teaser video on Twitter today (Aug. 21), along with special performances by Post Malone and Julia Michaels.

Every newly-added performer but Malone is up for an award themselves: While Logic clinched a nomination in the brand-new category of best fight against the system for his "Black SpiderMan," Gucci's "Down" with Fifth Harmony is up for best pop. Meanwhile, Khalid and Michaels go head-to-head for the prestigious best new artist honor.

The performers join an already star-studded lineup, including host Katy Perry as well as Pink, who is set to receive this year's coveted Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award, and Kendrick Lamar, who leads the awards show with eight nominations including artist of the year and video of the year for "Humble."

Watch the celestial video announcement from MTV of the new performers, below. The MTV Video Music Awards will air live from The Forum in Inglewood, Calif., on Aug. 27 at 8 p.m. EST.
