Go off, Taylor!  It's kind of a mess in a good way.  And it's definitely a big change in direction for her.  I think it's really good.

But I know the biggest complaint from Top 40 listeners is it doesn't have the big hook that she's known for.  That is the only thing working against it.

But this will smash!

I think the pre-hook is the catchy part.
And yeah this is a smash.
But I'm not convinced this song will lead to another million + 1st week album sales.

But with the album not coming until November 10, trust she will have a 2nd single before the album.  Same timing as "Shake It Off" and "Blank Space".

I think it was smart to make this single an event.  She'll have to reel in the girls with something more sing-a-long for single 2, though.  For sure.
