R&B singer Angie Stone stopped by the Streetz Morning Takeover show on Streetz 94.5 radio hosted by Yung Joc, Moquick and comedian Shawty Shawty on Friday. Stone, 55, was there to discuss her exclusive interview with Usher?s Georgia accuser, whom Stone identified as ?Laura?.


Laura, an up-and-coming singer from New Orleans, resides in Atlanta. She is one of two people suing the R&B crooner for allegedly exposing them to herpes.

Laura is familiar to those in the Atlanta music scene. She is friends with local and national musicians and singers. So it makes sense that she knows Stone, who lives in Atlanta.

Stone shared details from her interview with Laura, which was released on Worldstarhiphop.com. She explained that Laura?s ?publicist? ?ratchetly? stole files from her iPhone and ?started selling information? that was ?stolen off of this young woman?s phone.?

Stone further explains that the lawsuit stemmed from the video and photo files that were accidentally downloaded from the phone.

Laura and Usher reportedly began exchanging text messages back and forth, which ended with Usher reportedly refusing to settle out of court with Laura.

She subsequently filed a $10 million lawsuit against Usher. Later an amendment to the lawsuit increased her monetary demand to $20 million ? not $40 million.

Usher responded to the lawsuit last week through his prominent attorney Steve H. Sadow.

The 38-year-old father of 2 basically acknowledged having extramarital sex with Laura, but he says she didn?t provide evidence that she contracted herpes from him.

According to the court documents, ?A previous sexual partner very well may have already infected her,? and she failed to practice safe sex by engaging in ?casual, unprotected sexual intercourse and/or oral sex.?

Usher didn?t say that he couldn?t have given her herpes. That?s because he already has a slam dunk case.
