I actually love Anti, but she should have cut "Never Ending", "Close To You" & "Yeah, I Said It".

And just put "Sex With Me" on the original.

It would have felt tighter.

Umm these are two of the best songs on the damn alb' hun


Especially Close to GOD. Love a good Rih ballad.

For me, it's not about what's good.  "Close To You" is amazing.  It reminds me of "Stay".  I just don't think it was necessary for the sound she went for on Anti. 

And "Yeah, I Said It" is filler.  It's a good track, but it can go.  And parts of it sound like Tinashe. 

I just always want to pluck songs off albums to make them tighter.

I actually really like close to u. I liked thay vulnerable vocal. ACTUALLY a good ballad is the only thing anti lacked for me.  Close was as close as we were gonna get. Yeah i said it os overrated to me. People loved it but I could take it or leave it. It was JUST okay

Rihanna stepped her game up hard with Anti.

Let's be real.  She was churning out albums every November, and they were all starting to blend together.  She finally took her time, and it really showed.  The tracklist and sound just feels perfectly curated.  And it doesn't feel top heavy with radio songs. 

To me Anti is like her 4.

It's that turning point to show her that she won't lose her fame and status if she makes the music she really wants to make.  So, it's only up from here.
