80% West African,, as in, approaching PURITY. Top result being Mali.
She took the test because many people wouldn't just
let her be Black.When anyone asked, and she told someone she was
African American, they'd follow it up with, "Yeah, but what are you mixed with?"
So out of an
understandably growing curiosity of her own, she took the test.

I feel this deserves a topic because it's time to start addressing the misconceptions about Africa and Black people in general.
We are diverse, we come from the most diverse place on the planet.
Start looking to countries in Africa if you really want to figure us out. Not in Europe or anywhere else.
Unless we are
directly mixed.
If we tell you we're Black, respect that and leave it alone . Unless you're trying to figure out which country in Africa we are from. Because chances are if we don't know of anything else in our family immediately, we're
NOT really anything else but Black.
