Why is it so hard for you to realize that in NYC we don't categorize Latinas as AA's.

Barack Obama is Black. I don't call him "biracial" or "half black" even though he has a White mom. He identifies as Black, he doesn't label himself as anything other than Black, so he's Black.

I speak about 9 languages. Am I disqualified? Is there an exotic tick box

Only guesses I'm making for AOTY.

Kendrick Lamar - DAMN. (Frontrunner)
Bruno Mars - 24K Magic (His era has cooled off with "Versace" flopping & being shut out at the VMAs, but his Showtime At the pollo special in November will probably secure voters.)
Ed Sheeran - Divide
Lorde - Melodrama (I think she could get snubbed but her Metacritic score is SO high!)
Metallica - Hardwired... To Self Destruct


Record Of The Year

Kendrick Lamar - "HUMBLE." (Frontrunner)
Ed Sheeran - "Shape Of You"
Luis Fonsi, Daddy Yankee & Bieber - "Despacito"
Bruno Mars - "That's What I Like"
Childish Gambino - "Redbone" (Gonna roll the dice and say this gets in!)


Song Of The Year

Ed Sheeran - "Shape Of You" (Frontrunner)
Kendrick Lamar - "HUMBLE."
Sam Smith - "Too Good At Goodbyes" (Let's see how big this gets!)

I'm sure Taylor will find her way in at least one of these categories.  But I'm not sure how GRAMMY voters will respond to "Look What You Made Me Do".

These categories are just so unpredictable.  One minute they're traditional leaning, and the next they're mainstream.  I'm sure none of us will get this even close to right.

Best R&B Performance

(Kanye proved 2 songs from the same album can dominate this category.  I don't think "Shining" will get in.)
