Boy, you are scrambling and HARD.  The only scramble you need to be concerned with is that omelette I'm preparing you on Monday.

So, now Cardi is going #1, because of white people?

Proof?

If not, save me the speech trying to discredit her success.

Let's talk FACTS.

you dont chart on billboard at least without white ppul support
thats facts

I mean, DUH.

But to sit here and say that "Bodak" is only going #1, because of white people is not only baseless, it's not true.  Black people in the industry and at radio have been going hard for Cardi over the last 2 weeks.  And the song has been sitting Top 5 on Spotify WITHOUT Pop radio.

Ya'll still stuck in 2008 when Z100 and Top 40 determined what charted.

Now, every black person who can listen on YouTube, Apple Music, Spotify or TIDAL are now in control of the charts.  Which is why black music has been dominating.  Leaving a majority of the Payola Pop white girls in the dust.

Again, let's talk facts.
Bingo

And Taylor and the girls are being welcomed with this fact as we speak. Them days are over

This nigga really came in here posting links to studies about white people purchasing more rap albums than black people in 2004.

And trying to equate it to "Bodak Yellow" going #1 in the streaming era.

I'm crying.

I'm literally done talking about it.

We're talking about hip hop's audience and consumers.

Just because format of support changed doesn't mean the audience does.
access and coin are a big a deal. Black people may not be shelling out 20 dollars for an album and physical copy, but its nothing to stream in DROVES for an artist you fuck with. Its a completely different time

OKAY!

K. Michelle was even asking why the fuck she talks like a white girl, but raps like that?  And felt she was mocking black people.  :kii:

We were NOT using that girl like that.

And this attempt to discredit Cardi by saying "ya'll loved Iggy too" is bullshit.

White power in the industry wasnt being denied in here. Just that in 2017, they arent the sole reason for certain songs skyrocketing on the charts. Again, pop radio JUST hopped on the wave because Bodak yellow had to earn its spot and literally dominate on every urban format first and foremost.

White people are sometimes late to the party and often hop on whatevers cool and the in thing to do. Who do you think made Cardi popular? It certainly wasnt a vast majority of white people. They didnt even know who this girl was until two weeks ago.
