I love Ciara, but nah. Ciara hates touring and nothing brings her as much as her kids and husband. Instead of hustling and doing stuff in LA, she would rather be in Seattle supporting Russell. She took a backseat to have her work revolve around Russell. Now late 2014 and early 2015, single mom Ciara without a man distractions is when she was everywhere. Top shop, Cavalli, I Bet, Jackie, ICDT, Shape Magazine now she is all about family.

A lot of the issue with Ci is the single selection. She has great songs on every album but they're always either missing that one thing, or a song is just perfect but the label (or Ci) refuses to release it.

Sovereign.

Ciara will be fine. It's my hope she solidifies a cohesive sound this era. She just has to produce that song that radio will eat up and everything will fall into place. She and her team have to be consistent though. Her writer's, producer's, management etc. She should also collaborate with a new creative director/choreographer. I love what she and Jamaica have cultivated in the past, but I'd love for her to work with Hollywood or something. Super hungry and talented choreographer's who'll offer fresh aesthetics.

😻 Her tone on that song

Scott.

I was disappointed when she described "Jackie" as a personal album especially when she put out "I Bet" as the opener and the album was anything BUT

AND SHE STILL HAS TIME, IF SHE REALLY WANTS IT TBH. Tina Turner ass fell and was getting stomped owt by Aretha, Diana, Donna for a full decade plus until she got it together. Cher ass was also.

Ciara doesn't make good enough music to be on their level.

After hearing JACKIE, there's no amount of excuses or shoulda-coulda-wouldas that can defend that shit.  And then to go around calling that your best work.

n
You do know good music is subjective and that could ALWAYS change with the right people behind you.

"Jackie" sold 300k?

This girl never really knows what she's talking about.
