If she's sold 20 million since 1991 (see billboard link) and most of these were certified around that time, then she sold more than R. Kelly's 33

You just said she sold 19 million since 1991 via Soundscan. R. Kelly sold 13 million albums from 2000 to 2009. Not including his 90's sales I'll save you the embarrassment.

But FYI, he has three albums on RIAA's Top 100 best selling albums of all time list. 12 Play (6x), R. Kelly (5x) and R. (8x). All those albums were certified within a year of their releases.

So no she didn't sell more than R. Kelly and RIAA and soundscan agrees. Jan was nowhere to be found on Soundcan's decade end list in 2009.
