What are some things your parents forbade you from doing when you were younger that kinda made you give





My parents were kinda God Warrior-ish tbh; they didn't like me reading/watching Harry Potter and stuff because it promoted 'witchcraft' and ungodly mess. I used to always think 'girl what the fuck is the difference between what you think god does and witchcraft?'


Still read the books anyway tho

I couldn't use salt or knives for food until I was like 11

I used to think her not letting me attend sleepovers was weird, but I grew older and learned how many girls are abused.  She only trusted a few people around her kids, period.  I can see why a mother should be overprotective.
