lolz yea, TP-2 pretty much birthed the new flock of R&B niggers from 2000 to now

lies
NE-YO, Chris, Jason Derulo ( I guess) basically all the popular R&B/Pop male singing/dancng artists
besides Trey are way more in the Usher vein

v

I'm not about to go back and forth with you, ray

Neyo, Chris and Trey all reference R. Kelly as the major influence. I mean, I can pull quotes and songs where they directly reference Kellz.

and singing/dancing started with Michael Jackson, not Usher.

NE-YO & Chris would list Mike FIRST
but they are way more similar to Usher, and even Trey who clearly is more similar to R Kelly
was still on BET singing a tribute to Usher
no need to rebuttal the truth

They reference King too tho  :sobusyjetsetter: I mean Fist was just covering "Bump N' Grind" at one of his shows lolz

and Neyo has said that he wants to model his career after Kellz  :sobusyjetsetter: that was around the time he had "Sexy Love" out

and Trey is a Kellz stan and pretty much mimicks everything he does so there's that.

Straight from the horses mouth

and let's not act like Neyo and Chris are the only 00's R&B artist :uhh

Marilyn

Usher but only because of Confessions.

thats all nice but Chris & NE-YO are the more popular ones
and their entire style of music & performance is way more similar to Usher than R Kelly except Trey

iman

ff no one cares that you think their style is similar to Usher :uhh:

They always say Kellz and MJ are their influences

#2 Overall artist of the decade according to Billboard
#1 Hot 100 artist of the decade

QuoteFor much of the 2000s, Usher Raymond IV was the unstoppable force in popular music. He scored a whopping eight No. 1s on the R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart (more than any other artist this decade), plus his 2004 album "Confessions" sold more than 20 million copies worldwide. And the man with the golden pipes and fancy footwork shows no signs of slowing down. "There are tons of artists I want to work with," Usher told Billboard last year. "I'm interested in working with artists who are out of the range I'm accustomed to. I want to try new things."
