I'm kinda glad a "unity!" statement wasn't made tbh. Would have been late and corny to turn it into some sort of message song. Keep it real. No fake smooch smooches mess.

The fact that they're on a track together in itself shows unity.

It's like making a song for the clubs - if the beat is already made for the clubs there's no reason for you to hop on the beat saying "hey yall dis one for da clubs! lets dance!" on it. Just do your thing and be creative.

The Shims (Lonz) are upset that this isn't really turning out to be the new "Nicki vs Kim" mess. The gorls were legit SALIVATING over the idea of Nicki sitting somewhere in a corner crying while Cardi ignores her and slays the scene or something. This collab definitely put a dent in a lot of the gorl's narratives.

It's evident - even Taron fumed a bit in the thread and just flat out said "Shit I wanted Card to snatch Nicki's wig". Now the Shims (Lonz) are looking at more intricate details to pull the rug out from under the legitimacy of the collab. "Copy and paste! Recorded in separate studios!" At the end of the day, they're on a track together.

And Nicki's smarter than Shim was. Now, what else is up?
