I dunno, I just read a story about this young "gender fluid" Black boy who was killed because two guys mistook him for a female. Kedarie Johnson.
Once they got him to a room somewhere and began to dig and found surprising little treats they blacked out and killed him.
It made me think - maybe it isn't a horrible idea to at least take a lot of TIME to educate your kids on what the challenges are in being a trans person, or "gender fluid" person, etc. I felt bad because this is just a kid being ignorant - not realizing the consequences and danger of his action.
There were TWO men in that room with him. I doubt two Black guys who identified as hetero decided that they wanted to fuck a trans together. That's usually something they do solo and very hush hush if they're interested. So I believe they were fooled a bit by his appearance.
The story made me super sad because it's a child. I wonder if his parents really took the time to explain what danger he was in by making his decisions and giving him a real rundown of expectations.
What did he think was gonna happen once those two guys were ready to run their train but suddenly found out there were some speed bumps in the way?
