I don't think the industry respects ci but I think the ppl do

Everyone loves ciara tbh

I'm not 100% sure the industry DOESN'T respect Ci. 

I feel like Ciara is somewhere in the middle for the public and the industry.

She is, sis needs one solid era to remind people. I have noticed over the years she is starting to get more respect as a PERSON. Everyone has nothing but great things to say about her overall.

I feel like there's a plateau for the dancer/singer artist now.  In the 80's/90's/early 00's, you could lip DOWN  and be a dancer first.  Now, I feel like if you can't get onstage and really give a VOCAL, everyone is kinda like

You have to be a hybrid like Beyonc? now to really get it CRACKIN' as a dancer.  Or be like Rihanna and SZA and just give swag and a vocal.  It's like you almost have to pick a side.

I'd be shocked to see another artist like Ciara over the next 5 years.  Tinashe is like a watered down version of her, and nobody is checking for that aesthetic.

I feel like Madonna and Britney?s respect are similar
neither of them are great musicians. They have good performances with
lights, pre-recorded tracks, dancers, pyro etc

Madonna kinda pushed the envelope and did a lot for women. And Madonna is a good songwriter and has a hand in everything she does. She just can't sing.

Britney plays the piano like Beyonce plays the piano. Aka beginner level. Madonna can play the drums and can play the guitar as well. Not to mention she has several albums of just her and someone else writing the music. She's the better vocalist, too. Her > Britney. Not debatable

& Please. It wasn't like Bran was going UP for those weak ass harmonies for real. That was clearly an "outdid my expectations" mess.
